## Community Highlight - Revitalizing 15 Year Old Mural in Old Town

We are excited to run a monthly Quotes for a Cause campaign. Each month, our agency will be donating $5 per new business quote to a nonprofit or charitable organization, regardless of whether or not the policy is actually purchased.

For the month of February, we are partnering with [Downtown Lansing, Inc.](https://www.downtownlansing.org/) to bring a new mural to the [Old Town General Store](http://oldtown-generalstore.com/)! Artist [Barbara Hranilovich](https://hranilovich.com/) designed one of the first murals in Old Town. The original mural was painted with the assistance of different community members and volunteers. Rhea VanAtta, owner of the Old Town General Store, is working to do something similar and has the great fortune to have the same artist agree to design the new mural. The original mural was painted fifteen years ago.

With so much emphasis on new art installations around Lansing, Rhea thought that revitalizing one of the oldest murals in Lansing would be a wonderful way to bring the community together. If you would like to support the project, please contact Rhea at 517-487-6847.
