## Welcome, Heather Kim, to the Rathbun Agency Team!

We are excited to announce that Heather Kim has joined our team as a Personal Lines Customer Service Representative! Heather joins us after spending twenty years in the hospitality industry in the Greater Lansing area. She was born and raised in Lansing and is a graduate of Michigan State University - where she competed for the Women’s Gymnastics Team for 4 years.

Heather has been a member of the South Lansing Business Association (SLBA) since 2008 and is currently the SLBA President. She also serves on the Board of Directors for the YMCA of Metropolitan Lansing and begins her year tenure as board chair in April 2021. Heather has volunteered for the YMCA since 2010, as a member of the Christian Emphasis Committee. She became chair of the committee in 2012, filling the position that was held by her dad, Don Cooper, who had served with the Lansing YMCA for 40 years. In 2018, Heather was honored to receive the C. Colton Carr-YMCA Service Award.

Heather resides in Grand Ledge with her two children and loves being their biggest cheerleader at all of their activities and gymnastics meets. She also enjoys going to live concerts, Broadway and theater shows, trips to warm weather locations and sporting event -especially Michigan State basketball and football! Welcome, Heather!
