The Rathbun Agency is excited to turn 65 this year! We were founded back in 1956 by two Rathbun brothers - Jack and Jim.The agency started with no customers and one company contract, but steadily grew through referrals as a result of exceptional customer service.

We value community. The Rathbun Agency has been successful because we have immersed ourself within the #LoveLansing community. All of our agents are involved within leadership in local nonprofits and we support organizations that make Lansing it's best. Through our [Quotes for a Cause](/blog/tag/quotes-for-a-cause) initiative alone, we have been able to donate over $35,000 to sixty six local nonprofits since 2014!

Customer Service Representative Mary Lezotte has selected the [Women's Center of Greater Lansing](http://www.womenscenterofgreaterlansing.org/) for her #65For65Years selection. The Women's Center of Greater Lansing provides comprehensive services in order to help women realize their potential, achieve economic self-sufficiency, and develop emotional and physical wellbeing, regardless of income level. The Center offers a variety of services, including:

- Professional Clothes Closet - This provides clothing for interviews and entering the workforce.
- Individual Counseling - The Center provides career, individual, couples, marriage and family counseling.
- Career Support - A computer lab, Job Seekers support group and one-on-one help assist in finding a place in the workforce
- Support Groups
- Legal Clinic
- The Coaching Academy
- H.O.P.E. - Heal, Organize, Plan, Execute provides step by step resources to get back on track
