## Paul Rathbun Receives Agent of the Year

- Posted on Monday, February 28, 2022

Last week was six months since Paul left us. Perpetuating his legacy and embodying his giving heart is always top of mind to those of us at the agency.

At this year's Big "I" Michigan Convention, Paul was honored with the Forsetlund Award. This prestigious honor is given to the individual who has contributed the most to his or her agency in the last year. Agency President Ben Rathbun was able to receive the award on behalf of his father.

In the award speech, the association noted Paul's several decades of community service. They highlighted his involvement and leadership positions with the Capital Region Community Foundation, Ele's Place, Lansing Rotary, Pere Marquette Art Alley, Underground of Good, and countless other organizations. Paul was a lifelong community servant who always was looking to make Lansing a better place to live.
