## Community Highlight: Spicy Bowls for Strong Souls Chili Cookoff

- Posted on Thursday, August 29, 2024

At Rathbun Insurance, we believe that "Being There Matters Most," not just for our clients but also for our community. This September, we are thrilled to sponsor the Spicy Bowls for Strong Souls Chili Cookoff as part of our ongoing Quotes for a Cause campaign.

Mark your calendars for Saturday, September 21, 2024, and join us at the Hope Sports Complex for a day filled with mouth-watering chili creations, fun activities, and community spirit. The event kicks off at 11:00 AM, and whether you're a chili connoisseur or just looking for a fun day out with the family, there’s something for everyone. From a dedicated kids' area to a variety of beverages available for purchase, it’s going to be a day to remember.

But this event is about more than just good food. The Spicy Bowls for Strong Souls Chili Cookoff is also an opportunity to support two fantastic local nonprofits: [T.W.I.G.S.](https://www.twigsinc.org/)and [The MARK Advocacy Grou](https://markadvocacygroup.org/)p. Both organizations are dedicated to enhancing the well-being of our community, and every spoonful of chili sampled helps to make a difference.

We’re especially excited to announce that our CEO, Ben Rathbun, will be on-site to enjoy the chili and connect with our community. His presence underscores our commitment to being actively involved in the causes that matter most to our neighbors.

So, bring your family, friends, and a hearty appetite to the Hope Sports Complex on September 21 from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Together, we can savor some delicious chili while supporting causes that truly make a difference in our community. We can’t wait to see you there!
