## Rathbun Insurance Attends Communities In Schools Leadership in Education Dinner

- Posted on Wednesday, May 7, 2025

Last night, our President Laura Stoken, Producer Heather Cooper-Kim, and Commercial Account Managers Paige Miller and Cheryl Grimes had the honor of attending the _[Communities In Schools of Michigan](https://cismichigan.org/) Leadership in Education Dinner_. Held in the stunning North End Zone of MSU Spartan Stadium, the event offered breathtaking views of the field and a powerful atmosphere that captured the spirit of champions and community.

The Leadership in Education Dinner brought together educators, advocates, and community leaders united by a shared mission: to break down barriers to learning and create pathways for every child in Michigan to succeed. The event raised critical funds to support student-centered programs that ensure kids have the tools, resources, and support they need—both inside and outside the classroom.

The evening also recognized two incredible honorees whose dedication to education and equity continues to make a statewide impact: [Senator Sarah Anthony](https://senatedems.com/anthony/) and [Jackson National Life Insurance Company](https://www.jackson.com/). Their leadership and ongoing investment in Michigan’s youth embody the values that Communities In Schools champions every day.

At Rathbun Insurance, we believe that _Being There Matters Most_, and supporting organizations that empower students aligns with our commitment to building stronger, more resilient communities. We are proud to stand with Communities In Schools of Michigan and all those working to ensure every student has a chance to thrive.
