Whether we’re supporting our clients, showing up for our neighbors, or giving back to the community, kindness is at the heart of what we do. That’s why we’re excited to join the [Lansing School District](https://www.lansingschools.net/) in its 517K Kindness Challenge, a community-wide initiative with an incredible goal: completing 517,000 acts of kindness by World Kindness Day on November 13! Throughout the challenge, Rathbun Insurance staff are working together to complete at least 25 acts of kindness each day. From small, thoughtful gestures to meaningful acts of service, our team is embracing the opportunity to be intentional about spreading kindness. And the best part? Kindness doesn't have to be complicated or cost a thing! Holding the door for someone, offering a word of encouragement, helping a coworker, thanking someone who makes a difference, volunteering, or simply taking a moment to brighten another person's day all count. It's a reminder that the little things really do add up. What makes this challenge so special is that we're joining Lansing School District students, educators, families, businesses, and community partners who are all working toward the same goal. Imagine the impact of 517,000 moments of kindness happening throughout our community! At Rathbun, giving back has always been part of who we are. We regularly support local nonprofits, volunteer our time, and look for ways to make a difference throughout Greater Lansing. This challenge is another opportunity to put those values into action, one person and one interaction at a time. We're proud to support the Lansing School District's efforts to make kindness contagious, and we encourage our clients, friends, families, and community partners to get involved, too! Challenge yourself to do something kind for someone today. Then do it again tomorrow. You never know how much one small gesture might mean to someone else. 517,000 acts of kindness. One community. Countless opportunities to make a difference. At Rathbun Insurance, we know that being there matters most, and sometimes being there starts with something as simple as being kind. ## Insurance Proposal Give us some info and we'll help you find the best coverage options.
