Since September 2015, The Rathbun Agency has selected a different nonprofit each month as part of Quotes for a Cause. We partner with local organizations that are giving back right in our own community. At the end of each month, we present that months organization with a check for $1,000.

This month, we are upping our donation to $1,500 to sponsor the NAAIA Scholarship Breakfast. We became members of NAAIA, the National African-American Insurance Association, last year and have been a continuing part of the important conversations on diversifying the insurance industry. Through their Detroit/Michigan chapter, we have had the chance to interact with the NAAIA membership and partner with them on providing more opportunities for students. 

We are proud sponsors of their inaugural scholarship breakfast, held May 12th at Junior Achievement Finance Park in Downtown Detroit. We'll be hearing from Lietenant Governor Garlin Gilchrist II as we encourage the future career aspirations of exemplary Michigan students.
