On Friday, September 26, 2025, Rathbun Insurance had the honor of attending the 3rd Annual Cafecito Caliente Awards Gala, hosted at the beautiful Cadillac Room in Lansing’s REO Town District. CEO Ben Rathbun and our Operations and Marketing Specialist Ricardo Morales joined community leaders, families, and friends for an unforgettable evening dedicated to honoring the Hispanic Latino community of Mid-Michigan.

The Cafecito Caliente Awards shine a spotlight on outstanding contributions in education, community service, Latino business, arts and culture, and community

partnerships. The evening also included special recognitions such as Rising Star of the Year, Latina of the Year, and moving Legacy Awards presented to individuals whose lifetime of work has left a lasting impact on the Hispanic Latino community.

The atmosphere was nothing short of inspiring—truly worthy of a night that many described as unlike any other ever held for the Hispanic Latino community in our region. From celebrating trailblazers to uplifting the younger generation of leaders, the evening reflected a strong and vibrant community full of talent, passion, and dedication.
