Ben, Laura, Cheryl, and Paige had an absolute blast representing Rathbun Insurance at the Home Builders Association of Greater Lansing’s annual Toys for Tots Dinner Celebration at Eagle Eye Banquet. This festive evening brings together community partners, builders, and supporters for one important mission: spreading holiday joy to local children and families in need.
This year’s Toys for Tots campaign was a tremendous success thanks to outstanding community support. The Home Builders Association hosted 238 collection boxes across 189 locations throughout the Lansing region, and as you’ll see in our photos, the generosity was overflowing.
The Home Builders Association is a nonprofit trade organization made up of professionals who build and strengthen our community, including home builders, remodelers, developers, trades, and residential suppliers. They are dedicated to advancing the local housing industry and are one of more than 800 Home Builder Associations nationwide. Their commitment to giving back is just another example of how deeply they care about the communities they help create.
The event also supports the beloved Salvation Army Angel Tree program, which ensures every child can feel the magic of Christmas morning. Angel Tree connects donors with children and senior adults who might otherwise go without holiday gifts. Once registered, each “Angel” shares a wish list with donors who brighten the season with new toys, clothing, and essentials. These gifts are then delivered to families to place under their tree, helping ensure that every child in our community feels seen, celebrated, and supported.
At Rathbun Insurance, we believe in showing up for our community, especially during the holidays. We are proud to support organizations like the Home Builders Association and The Salvation Army who make a meaningful impact year after year.
