Last night, our Rathbun Insurance team had the absolute best time celebrating with friends, partners, and community leaders at the Tri-County Office on Aging’s 40th Annual Dinner and Auction: Harvest Circle. This milestone event brought together supporters from across the region to honor TCOA’s decades-long commitment to serving older adults and individuals with disabilities.
We were proud to attend alongside our trusted carrier partner Auto-Owners Insurance, and together serve as this year’s Raffle Sponsors. We are so grateful for Auto-Owners’ continued partnership—not only with our agency, but with the broader Lansing community. Their dedication to giving back makes events like this possible, and we are honored to stand alongside them.
The Tri-County Office on Aging (TCOA) has been a vital resource in our region since its founding in 1974 as a consortium with Clinton, Eaton, and Ingham counties, along with the cities of Lansing and East Lansing. As this region’s designated Area Agency on Aging, TCOA plays a crucial role in helping older adults and individuals with disabilities maintain independence, dignity, and connection.
Their mission—to promote and preserve the independence and dignity of the aging population—guides every program, service, and community partnership. While their Meals on Wheels program is widely known and beloved, TCOA offers so much more. They provide a broad range of low- or no-cost services on a sliding fee scale, ensuring individuals receive the right level of support while honoring their unique needs and preferences.
TCOA’s impact is made possible through its strong network of partners, including agencies, volunteers, businesses, and local governments throughout Eaton, Clinton, and Ingham counties and the cities of Lansing and East Lansing. Their work reflects a deep commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion—creating a welcoming environment where every individual is respected and supported.
Events like Harvest Circle remind us why community partnerships are so important. When organizations come together to uplift and support one another, we all benefit. We were thrilled to celebrate TCOA’s 40 years of service and are proud to champion their ongoing efforts to enhance health, independence, and engagement for older adults across our region.
Congratulations to TCOA on this remarkable milestone—and thank you for the essential work you do every single day. At Rathbun Insurance, Being There Matters Most, and we’re grateful for opportunities like this to show up for the community we love.
