As we celebrate 70 years of Being There Matters Most, Rathbun Insurance is proud to continue our $70 for 70 Giving Campaign—a year-long initiative honoring our milestone anniversary by supporting the causes that matter most to our team.
Through this campaign, each staff member selects a nonprofit organization close to their heart to receive a $70 donation in their name. It’s a simple but meaningful way to reflect our values, support our community, and recognize the people and organizations doing important work across Greater Lansing.
This month, Paige Miller, Commercial Account Executive, selected Saved by Zade, a nonprofit educational resource led by cat-centric volunteers working together to paws-itively impact kitty overpopulation in the Greater Lansing area.
Saved by Zade focuses on hands-on, compassionate solutions for stray and feral cats. Their work includes rescuing cats in need, ensuring they are spayed or neutered, and providing the care and resources necessary to keep them safe, healthy, and out of harm’s way. These efforts not only improve the quality of life for individual cats, but also create long-term, sustainable change in our community.
Paige chose Saved by Zade because of their direct, boots-on-the-ground approach and unwavering commitment to animals who might otherwise be overlooked.
“As a fellow cat lover, it feels good knowing this support helps cats live better, longer lives,” Paige shared. “The work Saved by Zade does every day truly makes a difference.”

The $70 for 70 campaign is one of many ways we’re honoring our past while investing in the future—by supporting local nonprofits, amplifying causes our team cares about, and continuing to show up for the communities we serve.
