As part of Rathbun Insurance’s $70 for 70 Campaign, each member of our team is selecting a nonprofit organization close to their heart to receive a $70 donation in honor of our 70th year of service to the Greater Lansing community.
This week, we are honored to highlight our Inside Sales Manager, Jennifer Bates , who chose to support the Myasthenia Gravis Foundation of America (MGFA).
Jennifer shared why this cause is so meaningful to her:
“I’m proud to donate to the Myasthenia Gravis Foundation of America in honor of someone very special who faces this disease with resilience and grace every day. Supporting this organization helps raise awareness and provide vital resources to the MG community.”
Myasthenia Gravis is a chronic autoimmune neuromuscular disease that causes weakness in the skeletal muscles responsible for breathing, movement, and swallowing. The work of the MGFA is critical in funding research, supporting individuals and families affected by MG, and increasing awareness to improve early diagnosis and treatment.
Jennifer’s selection is a powerful reminder that our work extends beyond insurance policies—it’s about showing up for people, walking alongside our community, and supporting causes that truly matter.
We are proud to stand with Jennifer and the Myasthenia Gravis Foundation of America as part of our continued commitment to service during our 70th year.
