Great things are happening across Greater Lansing, and we are excited to celebrate the businesses, organizations, and community leaders helping move our region forward!
Rathbun Insurance is proud to support the Lansing Regional Chamber of Commerce and invites you to join us on Thursday, November 12, 2026, from 4:30 to 7 p.m. at the Kellogg Hotel and Conference Center for the 2026 Celebration of Regional Growth Awards.
This year's celebration marks an exciting milestone! For the first time in its 20-year history, the Celebration of Regional Growth Awards will be presented as an evening Lansing Economic Club program, bringing together business and community leaders to recognize the investments, innovation, and partnerships shaping the future of Greater Lansing.
Since the program began, 100 businesses have been recognized for investments totaling nearly $7.5 billion in our region. That's an incredible testament to the strength, resilience, and continued growth of the Greater Lansing business community!
This year's honorees represent some of the exciting developments taking place across our region. The 2026 recipients include:
- LG Energy Solution Michigan, recognized for its new Delta Township facility, bringing advanced battery manufacturing and hundreds of jobs to the region.
- The Gillespie Company and Michigan State University, recognized for the MSU Child Development Lab, expanding early childhood education opportunities on Lansing's Eastside.
- The City of Lansing, recognized for the new City Hall and the Lansing Public Safety and District Court Complex, modernizing essential city services and public safety facilities.
- University of Michigan Health-Sparrow, recognized for the University of Michigan Health-Sparrow Grand Ledge Health Center, Lansing Surgery Center, and Janice M. Granger Behavioral Health Building, expanding access to important health care services close to home.
Each of these projects represents more than just an investment in buildings or infrastructure. They represent opportunities for job creation, improved services, stronger neighborhoods, and a more vibrant future for the people who live and work in Greater Lansing.
The evening will begin at 4:30 p.m. with a reception featuring cocktails and networking, followed by welcome remarks at 5 p.m., dinner at 5:15 p.m., and the awards presentation at 5:45 p.m. Closing remarks and additional networking will begin at 6:30 p.m.
For Lansing Economic Club members, no separate registration is needed, as this special evening program replaces the regularly scheduled November luncheon.
At Rathbun Insurance, we believe that being there matters most. That means showing up for our community, celebrating the accomplishments of our neighbors, and supporting the people and organizations investing in our region's future.
We are fortunate to call Greater Lansing home, and events like this remind us just how much there is to celebrate!
We hope you'll join us on November 12 as we recognize this year's outstanding recipients and celebrate the continued growth and success of Greater Lansing. We look forward to seeing you there!
