Rathbun Insurance President Participates in Wilson Talent Center’s Annual Etiquette Breakfast

Rathbun Insurance President Laura Stoken recently had the opportunity to participate in the Wilson Talent Center’s Business & Risk Management Annual Etiquette Breakfast.

The event gives students an opportunity to step outside the classroom and put important professional skills into practice, including networking, communication, and business etiquette.

Eric Dowdy with AF Group gave a wonderful presentation to the students, sharing insights and guidance as they prepare to enter the professional world. Laura then had the opportunity to spend time with students as they practiced their networking and etiquette skills in real time, building confidence through conversation and connection.

At Rathbun Insurance, we believe there is tremendous value in creating opportunities for young people to connect with professionals in their community. Skills like introducing yourself, carrying a conversation, asking thoughtful questions, and building relationships may seem simple, but they can have a lasting impact as students move into college, internships, and their future careers.

We are grateful to the Wilson Talent Center and its Business & Risk Management program for creating experiences like this for students and for inviting local professionals to be part of their learning.

What a great way to pour into the next generation of professionals. We were proud to be part of it!
