Rathbun Insurance is excited to welcome Rafal Kopacewicz as the newest member of our team! Rafal joins our team as a Personal and Commercial Lines Producer, where he is passionate about helping individuals, families, and businesses protect what matters most while building lasting relationships based on trust.
Rafal brings a unique blend of insurance experience, technology expertise, and a passion for serving clients. Most recently, he worked as a Property & Casualty Insurance Agent with Farmers Insurance, where he helped clients evaluate coverage options, prepared personalized insurance solutions, guided customers through the insurance process, and earned their trust through responsive communication, thoughtful guidance, and a genuine commitment to finding coverage that fits each client’s unique needs.
Before entering the insurance industry, Rafal spent many years working in information technology and consulting, delivering technology solutions for organizations including IBM, State Farm, Hartford, and Delta Dental. His background in technology, analytical problem-solving, and customer-focused service enables him to simplify complex situations and help clients make confident, informed insurance decisions.
Rafal believes insurance is about more than policies and premiums—it is about helping people make informed decisions, providing trusted guidance, and being there when clients need support the most. His goal is to build long-term relationships by making insurance simple, understandable, and personal.
Rafal holds a Michigan Property & Casualty Producer License and earned a Master of Science in Computer Science from Bialystok Technical University in Poland. He communicates fluently in both Polish and English, allowing him to serve a diverse community of clients.
