We invite you to stop by our booth on Saturday as we join in the festivities and celebrate the richness of Hispanic and Latinx culture with our community.

Every year, National Hispanic Heritage Month is observed from September 15 through October 15 with events,

cultural celebrations, and educational opportunities. This month is dedicated to honoring the histories, cultures, and contributions of Americans whose ancestors came from Spain, Mexico, the Caribbean, and Central and South America.

In Lansing, the 517 Hispanic Heritage Weekend brings these celebrations to life with four days filled with art, music, dancing, food, education, and more. It is the largest display of Hispanic culture in our region—and we’re thrilled to be part of it.

This special weekend is organized by Ourspace, an initiative dedicated to amplifying culture, celebrating diversity, and supporting economic growth for Hispanic communities across Michigan. By connecting Hispanic-led organizations, initiatives, and businesses, Ourspace provides a bridge that highlights the many cultures represented in Michigan’s Hispanic and Latinx communities.

We hope you’ll come out to Downtown Lansing this September for this vibrant celebration of heritage, culture, and community. Whether you’re sampling authentic cuisine, enjoying live music and performances, or learning through art and educational opportunities, there’s something for everyone.
